Home & small office movers

A move planned room by room, not guessed on the day.

We walk through your home first, write down every piece that travels, and arrive with a crew and a truck sized to match. Nothing is improvised on the doorstep.

  • Walkthrough before any estimate
  • Written, itemised estimate
  • Floors and doorframes protected
What we move

Three kinds of move, three crew plans

Each move type has its own crew size, truck and packing kit. Pick the one closest to yours and we will fine-tune it at the walkthrough.

Apartments & flats

Stair carries, lift bookings and tight corridors. A compact crew with padded dollies and a smaller truck that fits city streets.

Plan an apartment move

Family homes

Several rooms, a garage and the things that only come out once a year. Labelled room by room so unloading follows your new floor plan.

Plan a family move

Small offices

Desks, files and equipment moved after hours or over a weekend, with crates numbered by desk so the team is working again on Monday.

How it runs

Moving day, in five chapters

Every move follows the same order, so you always know what comes next and who is responsible for it.

  1. The walkthrough

We visit in person or by video call, room by room, and note bulky, fragile and awkward pieces.

  2. The written estimate

You receive an itemised plan: crew size, truck, packing level, timings and what is included.

  3. Packing & protection

Floors, banisters and doorframes are covered before the first box moves. Fragiles are wrapped on site.

  4. The load and the drive

Heaviest pieces go first, room boxes last, so the truck unloads in the order your new home needs.

  5. Placing & reassembly

Furniture goes where you point, beds are rebuilt, and we take the empty boxes away with us.

Packing levels

Choose how much of the packing we do

All three levels include the walkthrough, protection and careful loading. The difference is who fills the boxes.

Before we arrive

Four things that make the day shorter

Most delays on moving day come from access, not lifting. A few small arrangements in the week before keep the crew moving.

  • A week beforeReserve the lift or loading bayAsk your building manager at both ends; we will share our arrival window for the booking.
  • A week beforeKeep a space for the truckA clear kerb or driveway close to the door saves long carries and time.
  • The day beforeDefrost and dry the fridgeEmpty, switch off and leave the door ajar so it travels dry and odour-free.
  • On the morningSet aside an "open first" boxChargers, kettle, medication, bedding. It rides with you, not in the truck.
Questions

What people ask before booking

How is the estimate worked out?

From the walkthrough list: the number and size of pieces, packing level, access at both ends and the distance between homes. The written estimate shows each of these so you can see what drives the total.

Are my belongings covered while you move them?

Yes. Standard goods-in-transit cover is included with every move, and your estimate explains what it covers. If you own especially valuable pieces, tell us at the walkthrough so we can discuss extra cover.

Is there anything you cannot move?

We do not carry flammables, gas bottles, paint, chemicals, live plants over long distances, or pets. Cash, passports and jewellery should travel with you in your own vehicle.

What happens if it rains on moving day?

We move in most weather. Furniture is wrapped before it leaves the house and mats are laid at both doors. In severe weather warnings we will call you to agree whether to reschedule.

My new home is not ready yet. Can you hold our things?

Yes. We can load on your moving-out date and hold everything in our secure, dry storage until your new keys are ready, then deliver on the date you choose.

How far ahead should I book?

Three to four weeks is comfortable for most moves. Month-end and Friday dates fill first; mid-week dates are usually easier to secure at shorter notice.
